MAE Associate Teaching Professor Maziar Ghazinejad received multiple awards recognizing his exemplary teaching and instructional practices at UC San Diego. The first, the Warren College 2025 Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award, is based on nominations from graduating seniors. It honors his passion for teaching, unmatched dedication to student learning, and skillful, hands-on approach that brings course material to life. Ghazinejad has been invited to accept the award at the official Warren College Commencement Ceremony.
The second, the Legacy Lecture Award from the UC San Diego Scholars Society, honors educators who have made a profound impact on students’ academic and professional growth. More than 70 professors were nominated by students, who were asked to choose the professor they would most like to hear deliver a thought-provoking, out-of-the-ordinary lecture.
